The Parlour Tearoom Terms and Conditions

General

  1. “The Parlour Tearoom” shall be referred to in these terms and conditions of sale as the seller and the purchaser or proposed purchaser shall be referred to as the buyer.

b) The terms and conditions shall take the precedence over any terms and the contrary in the buyers standard terms and conditions of purchase and to to the extent permitted by law, all other guarantees conditions or warranties

c) These terms and conditions cannot be varied unless expressly agreed in writing by the seller.

d) All orders and other agreements between the seller and the buyer whether in writing or verbal shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

e) No parties other than the seller and the buyer have any rights under these terms and conditions (and any agreement incorporating the same) pursuant to the contracts (rights of third parties) act 1999.

Pricing

  1. All prices will be subject to VAT where applicable. Products and quotes including VAT will be stated.

Delivery

  1. The seller will dispatch orders on the specified dispatch date where the buyer provides one. If the seller fails to meet this then the buyer will be entitled to a full refund of the product.

  2. The seller is unable to accept any liability for the delivery date of products dispatched via Royal Mails delivery services. Postage will be an additional charge and once the royal mail has the product we can not accept any liability for theft, loss or damage to the product. 

Payment

  1. All invoices and online orders are payable within the terms stated on any given invoices or the website unless expressly stated otherwise. 

  2. The seller reserves the right to charge the buyer interest for any invoices past the due date and the seller reserves the right to collect full payment before products can be shipped,posted or collected. 

  3. The seller reserves the right to claim from the buyer any costs that may be incurred in collecting full payments including and not limited to debt recovery agents chargers and legal fees. 

Queries

  1. All queries and issues regarding products or services supplied must be emailed to theparlourtearoom@hotmail.com within 2 days of receipt of the product.

  2. All queries regarding pricing, quantities must be emailed to theparlourtearoom@hotmail.com within two days of receipt of the product.

Returns

  1. Products correctly supplied to order such as gift vouchers can not be returned for a refund unless expressly agreed by the seller.

Vouchers

  1. Gift Vouchers supplied by the seller to the buyer will be inclusive of postage and packaging costs unless stated otherwise on promotional periods. 

  2. All gift vouchers are valid for 6 months only from date of purchase until the stated expiry date and can not be extended under any circumstances unless expressly stated otherwise by the seller.

  3. Vouchers are unable to be swapped for cash value or alternatives unless expressly stated by the seller or an agreement has been made between the buyer and the seller directly. 

  4. Gift Vouchers once posted can not be returned and the seller can not accept any liability for the loss theft or damage after postage via the royal mail. Once vouchers have been posted the seller is unable to replace any lost or stolen or delayed vouchers once posted.

  5. The seller can not change or alternate any gift vouchers once purchased via the website in person or online. 

  6. If any voucher is believe to be defaced or defected due to the buyers own fault we will not be liable to issue a refund or replacement unless expressly stated by the seller directly.

Complaints

  1. We sincerely hope you never have a cause for complaint, however if you do please raise this via our telephone line and speak to the manager on 01256 325795 who will be happy to address any issues with you. Alternatively you can contact the seller via theparlourtearoom@hotmail.com and we will investigate your complaint thoroughly. We aim to issue you a response within 72 hours. 

Events

  1. All our tickets for any of our events such as the evening of mediumship etc. are non refundable if you choose to no longer attend, can no longer attend or do not show up to the event on your part once the ticket has been purchased. We are unable to refund whole or part of the ticket costs or transfer tickets to any other dates or events after purchasing. We can not offer any cash or gift voucher alternatives.

  2. We reserve the right to reschedule dates if necessary due to shortage of staff, illness or expected closure of the business. If we must reschedule dates you will be automatically moved to the new rescheduled date or offered a refund as cancellation is on our part.

  3. Gift vouchers can not be used against online ticket events or special event dates such as mothers day, evening of mediumship events or anything deemed in that category by us.

Liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the sellers liability to the buyer is limited to the value of the products and services supplied that have given rise to any claim.

  2. Under no circumstances  shall the seller be liable for any consequential loss or damage howsoever arising as a direct or indirect result of any failure or defect or alleged failure or defect with any of our products or services supplied.

  3. The buyer shall indemnify the seller in respect of all damage, injury or loss to any persons or property and against all actions, suits, claims, demands, charges or expenses in connection therewith arising from the condition or the use of the products or services where they have been occasioned partly or wholly by the actions of the buyer or his servants, invitees or agents or by any breach by the buyer.

Confidentiality

  1. The buyer shall treat as strictly confidential and not divulge to any third party any information provided by the seller and marked as being confidential (or words having a similar effect)

  2. The buyer undertakes to ensure that its authorised users of the sellers online ordering system(s) shall not divulge or allow to be divulged any usernames, passwords or other online ordering access information to any person whatsoever
